The generator of pulse currents ГИТ 50-5x1/4C УХЛ4 (hereinafter referred to as the "generator") is a source of high-voltage current impulses and is intended for kitting-up of electrohydraulic plants for cleaning of casting from molding sand, and other installations where the electric discharge in liquid is used.

Current Impulses are formed at the discharge of a capacitor battery on a load, in which capacity the electric discharge channel in a water interval with the length of 80-120 mm is used in electrohydraulic plants.

The generator is intended for operation in areas with a temperate climate and is produced in УХЛ4 version, arrangement category 4 according to GOST 15150-69.
