Electrohydropulse technologies

Electrohydropulse technologies are based on use of high-voltage discharges in water produced between a working electrode and a treatable object, accompanied thus by the physical phenomena complex - the so-called electrohydraulic effect which represents an electric explosion in a liquid (almost instant energy generation in the set point).

The high-voltage discharge in a liquid is characterized by a complex of various factors affecting a treatable object, including:

  • High pulse pressure with amplitude of some tens megapascals;
  • Intensive non-stationary fluid flows having velocities of hundreds of meters per second;
  • Powerful cavitation processes;
  • Resonance oscillations for shelling the particles of multicomponent bodies, etc.

Joint effect of these factors produced on materials provides for crushing and removal of core sand parts, foreign residues and coverings, etc. from a surface and from internal hollows, allowing thus to eliminate manual labor, to improve radically sanitary-and-hygienic working conditions, to liquidate conditions for origination of occupational diseases and to solve environmental problems.
